A Perfect Weekend at the 2024 Geneva Lakes Antique and Classic Boat Show

The weather couldn’t have been better, the crowd was incredible, and the boats? Absolutely breathtaking.

The 2024 Geneva Lakes Antique and Classic Boat Show, held on September 28-29 at The Abbey Resort, was a stunning success, surpassing last year’s turnout and delivering a weekend to remember. Streblow Custom Boats was honored to once again serve as a platinum sponsor for this iconic event, presented by the Blackhawk Chapter of the Antique and Classic Boat Society.

A Celebration of Heritage and Craftsmanship

This year’s show brought together boat enthusiasts and curious visitors from near and far to admire an impressive lineup of classic and vintage boats. The sparkling waters of Lake Geneva and the picturesque Abbey Marina set the perfect stage for these mahogany masterpieces, each with its own unique story.

An Unforgettable Turnout

This year, the show welcomed a record-breaking number of visitors. Families, boating enthusiasts, and community members came together to celebrate a shared love for classic boats and the beautiful waters of Geneva Lake. The lively atmosphere, coupled with picture-perfect weather, made for an incredible weekend that exceeded expectations.

Ed Cox, owner of Streblow Custom Boats, reflected on the weekend: “The turnout this year was phenomenal. Seeing so many people come together to celebrate the beauty of these boats and the rich boating history of Lake Geneva was truly special.”

Celebrating Fontana’s Centennial

This year’s boat show was even more meaningful as it coincided with the Village of Fontana’s 100th anniversary celebration. The village’s rich history and scenic charm added to the event’s allure, making it a true community celebration.
