Behind the Scenes: Fun Q&A with Our Crew – Boats, Snacks, and a Touch of Holiday Spirit!
Ever wondered what makes our team tick beyond their amazing work on the water? We recently sat down with five of our team members for a lighthearted Q&A session, and their answers didn’t disappoint! Check out the video below to hear their candid (and hilarious) takes on some fun questions.
Sneaky Boat Snacks
We kicked things off with an essential boating question: “What’s your favorite snack to sneak on the boat when no one’s looking?” Let’s just say, the answers ranged from classic to quirky:
- Combos
- Spicy Purple Dorito bag
- Breakfast burritos (because, obviously, you can’t go wrong with breakfast food).
- Pabst Blue Ribbon (we’re all for staying hydrated).
- Gummy bears for a sugar rush!
Earliest Boating Memories
For many of our crew, their love for boating started early. From fishing with their dads to unforgettable trips on the Illinois River, boating has been a lifelong passion. A few highlights:
- “My dad taught me to fish before I could remember!”
- “Watching my dad water ski when I was about 4 or 5.”
- “Sitting next to my twin brother on my uncle’s boat in the 1960s.”
- “Wake the Lake with my dad – the boat traffic was wild, and I was terrified!”
Holiday Fun
And, of course, we couldn’t resist throwing in some festive hypotheticals.
Who would make the best elf?
- Mick, Adam, or George, depending on the day (and their elf-like features).

Who’s most likely to build a boat out of leftover Christmas wrapping paper?
- Bob, AKA “Bob the Builder.”
- Mick, the go-to guy for DIY anything.
- Georgie, for his love of epoxy and creativity.
